With this artwork, Essenza Intrecciata, I aim to communicate a profound dialogue between human nature and the environment that surrounds it. The gold, silver, and copper threads are powerful symbols of inner richness, diversity, and the individual experiences that each human carries. These precious metals intertwine and blend into fluid and dynamic forms, representing the soul’s journey through life, its challenges, and the connections it builds along the way.
The wooden background, on the other hand, speaks of the earth, of the deep roots that sustain these precious souls. It is as if the wood represents stability and the natural cycle, something immutable yet constantly evolving, which embraces and supports human life. This contrast between the shine of the threads and the organic texture of the wood suggests an intimate relationship between the spiritual essence and the material world.I wish to evoke a reflection on balance: on one side, the uniqueness and preciousness of the human being, and on the other, the necessity to remain connected to what is most primordial and natural.
The flow of the threads seems to suggest that, despite our desire to elevate ourselves or stand out, we are inevitably bound to our environment, and from this fusion, beauty and harmony emerge.
